Our project, Women for Peace, stems from the belief that "it is never too late... for peace." Following a spontaneous meeting in Paris in 2025, photographer Iris Brosch and I joined forces to bring this vision to life. This collaboration continues in 2026 at Photoschweiz as a creative duet between fashion and photography, where we aim to foster a new, powerful, and emotional dialogue. The exhibition featured four figures showing photographs of women for peace as "Modern Madonnas," presented on Haute Couture garments to explore a fresh art of visual storytelling. By adding motion and emotion to the photographed story through couture 3D, we invite you on an emotional journey to discover the narrative held between the folds.
The Modern Madonna photo series was presented in two ways:
-
Wearable Gallery: A line of printed viscose jersey shirts featuring surrealist, dreamy images, intended to be worn by the real, present person.
-
Photo Couture: Dramatic Haute Couture garments where we apply intensive textile craftsmanship. Draping, patchworking, embroidered details, tulle overlays, and textile appliqués follow the making of each individual ensemble.
